The PETSTEP Affiliate Program (“Program”) enables content creators, influencers, and partner platforms to earn commissions by referring customers to our online store. By joining the Program, affiliates agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, affiliates must:

• Operate a legitimate website, blog, social media account, or digital platform.
• Share content consistent with Pet Step UK’s brand values and customer experience.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Avoid spam, misleading advertising, or unethical marketing behaviours.
  

PETSTEP maintains full discretion to approve or decline applications.

Affiliate Responsibilities

Affiliates agree to:

• Promote PETSTEP products accurately and professionally.
• Use only approved affiliate links, banners, and creatives.
• Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in compliance with advertising regulations.
• Refrain from making false claims or altering product information.
  

Affiliates must not:

• Engage in spam emails, forced clicks, or cookie stuffing.
• Use PETSTEP trademarks in paid search campaigns.
• Misrepresent themselves as part of the PETSTEP team.

Commission Structure & Benefits

Cookie Duration: 30 days

Visitors referred through an affiliate link are tracked for 30 days. Any qualifying purchase within this period earns commission.

Commission Type: Percent of Sale

Affiliates earn based on the total value of each qualifying order.

Commission Amount: 10%

A flat 10% commission is paid on all qualifying referral sales.

Additional Terms:

Affiliates earn 10% commission when customers purchase through:

• The affiliate’s unique referral link or
• The affiliate’s assigned coupon code
  

Cancelled, refunded, or fraudulent orders are not eligible for commission.

Payments

• Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal or bank transfer.
• A minimum payout threshold of £50 applies.
• Payments are issued after a 30-day clearance period to allow for returns.
  

Use of Logo & Branding

Affiliates may use PETSTEP’s approved branding assets for promotional activity only.

Modifying logos, misusing trademarks, or presenting misleading partnerships is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities will result in immediate removal from the Program:

• Spam, deceptive practices, or misrepresentation
• Use of unauthorized discount codes
• Self-referrals
• PPC bidding on PETSTEP brand terms
• Promotion on websites containing harmful or inappropriate content
  

Termination

PETSTEP reserves the right to terminate or suspend an affiliate account for:

• Policy violations
• Fraudulent or suspicious behaviour
• Content or conduct damaging to the brand
  

Affiliates may also request removal from the Program at any time.

Liability Disclaimer

PETSTEP is not responsible for indirect or incidental damages, including loss of revenue related to the use of the Program. Tracking and system uptime are not guaranteed.
